Does it support GST invoicing?
Absolutely. While JetInvoice is a general-purpose invoice generator, it has powerful built-in GST support. It can automatically calculate IGST, CGST, and SGST based on the buyer’s state and includes a full database for HSN/SAC code lookups.
How does tax calculation work?
When you enable GST options, JetInvoice detects inter-state vs intra-state transactions automatically from the GSTIN and applies the correct tax rates. You can also create non-GST invoices by simply leaving the tax fields blank or at 0%.
Is this the same as the government's e-invoicing portal?
No. JetInvoice is not connected to the government's IRP (Invoice Registration Portal) and does not generate IRNs or QR codes for mandatory e-invoicing. It is a professional invoice generator for businesses that do not require mandatory e-invoicing typically businesses with annual turnover below ₹5 crore. If you need e-invoicing with IRN, please use the official GST portal.
What is an HSN code and is it mandatory?
HSN (Harmonised System of Nomenclature) is a standardised code for classifying goods. It is required on GST invoices for businesses with annual turnover above ₹5 lakh. JetInvoice has a built in HSN code search type your product name or code and find the right classification instantly without any manual lookup.
How many invoices can I create for free?

Is my invoice data safe and private?
